Pastor Amankwatia Boateng and Family leave German South Area after six years.

A memorable farewell service has been held in honour of the outgoing Area Head of the German South Area, Pastor Osahene Amankwatia Boateng and family who have been transferred to the German North Area as Area Head and also as the District Minister for Düsseldorf.

Pastor Amankwatia Boateng doubled as the District Minister for Munich while serving as the South Area Head. The service which was held on Sunday, 1st September, 2019 at the Augsburg assembly in Munich district was officiated by the National Head, Apostle Ebenezer Nii Odai Quaye.

Speaking at the service, Apostle Eben Quaye revealed that, the gifts and callings of God are irrevocable, and therefore urged Christians to continually have faith in God and in which ever area they have been called to serve.

He prayed for the power and strength of God to be with Pastor Amankwatia Boateng and family as they continue their pastoral duties in the German North Area. “Many people think you will fail, but you shall be blessed in the nation, because you are moving in the direction of the cloud”, he added.

Apostle Quaye also thanked God for granting Pastor Amankwatia Boateng and family a successful and fulfilled ministry over the past six years in the South Area.

In a testimony by the executive of the church in Munich, Pastor Osahene Amankwatia Boateng was described as a friend, brother, mentor who taught them the unadulterated word of God. He was also acknowledged for his exceptional leadership skills and his ability to harness potentials. He was described as a disciplinarian and was also acknowledged for the establishment of the French assembly in Munich district.

The pastorate in the area described him as a man full of the word of God, who taught them at every given time, especially during meetings. The pastorate was also grateful to Pastor Amankwatia for his immense contribution to the growth of the area and also lauded Mrs. Nana Ama Amankwatia Boateng for the love she showed them.

The Women’s ministry, in turn, described Mrs. Nana Ama Amankwatia Boateng as a mother with a heart of gold, who freely loved, genuinely cared for them and corrected them in love.

In his response, Pastor Amankwatia Boateng was grateful to God for seeing him through his mandate as area head in the south area. He also thanked the National Head and wife for the trust and love they have shown him over the years, as well as Apostle Dr. M.K. Ntumy, former Chairman and wife for their advice and encouragement. He also thanked all the pastors he worked with as well as the members in the area.

Among the dignitaries present at the farewell service were the wife of the National Head, Mrs. Rosaline Quaye, South Area pastorate and their wives.
