Apostle Quaye’s Christmas Message.
Dearly Beloved,
“So, all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which is translated, God with us” Matthew 1:22-23 NKJV.
It is believed that the first Christmas message was preached by God Himself in the Garden of Eden. He preached life out of death, blessings out of a cursed situation, hope in a hopeless situation and light out of darkness by declaring,” And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.” Genesis 3:15 NKJV.
This scripture indicates that God has not entirely forsaken us due to our disobedience, but in His eternal plan, He has us in mind and to save us from our sins. This is the purpose of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ who was born by the Virgin Mary in a manger to fulfill the old time prophesy by Isaiah the prophet “behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which is translated, God with us”.
As we reflect on the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ during this Christmas season, may we all know that God’s ultimate plan for us is to save and be with us now and forever, no matter what the situation may be. Be assured that God is always with us and he will never leave nor forsake us. Beloved, in Christ, as we celebrate Christmas, may Immanuel continue to be with us.
It is my prayer that, we will continue to experience His presence, power, protection and His provisions in our lives. May we enjoy the peace of God now and throughout the coming years! Now, on behalf of the National Executive Council and on my own behalf, I wish you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR.
